  • Water chambers

I've always had trouble with my Fisher and Paykel water chamber - lots of limescale builds up, the bottom goes a horrible brown colour and you can't empty the chamber completely. I had my on-line check-up yesterday with my sleep clinic and mentioned this - a few minutes later the sleep tech emailed me to say they were sending a new kind of chamber that opened at the bottom, allowing for easier cleaning and airing. Great service!

Wow, that is great service. I hope it's a lot easier for you to clean.
    Kind regards, Tricia

      Hiya,
If you do get limescale build up again just pour in a glug of white vinegar with the water, leave for a couple of hours and rince out.
It works for me and even if you can't get all the water out just keep rincing until you can't smell it any more.
Good luck with the new water chamber.

Have tried vinegar and water, have tried everything in fact but still get limescale and horrible brown stains on the bottom of the chamber.

          Everything except ......

          Hi Poppy56

......... the one that works because it has no choice!

You can buy it on-line or from hardware stores - at least, old fashioned ones such as we are blessed with Portswood.

HG Systems - Hagesan Blue - professional limescale remover. £3.95 a half litre, last you for ages and ages.
