I’ve been using this APAP machine for a couple of years. Recently it has started to say that the seal scores practically zero on most days but the AHI reading is generally around 10. This seems counter intuitive to me. Has anyone come across this please

Seeing all these machines here, I presume people buy their favourite machine or try different ones out.
I can see, like my sister, that A smaller one is useful for travelling. She is very capable but not technically minded so ask the salesman at ResMed to set it up for her which he did . Although he did put it to APAP which worked fine as it did her settings to exactly her normal settings.

The main question I have is can all APAP machines be set by the user?

The second question is about the NHS and your own machine, can you have your own machine on the NHS?

thank you very much earoles

ResMed AirSense 10 AutoSet automatic CPAP/APAP machine in exceptional, barely-used condition.

ONLY 2 TOTAL RUN HOURS – this is the machine’s recorded lifetime run time, not simply recent usage. A photograph of the machine’s About screen showing Run Hrs: 2 is included.

The machine is fully working and has been tested, as shown powered on in the photographs.

Comes as a very comprehensive set including:

ResMed AirSense 10 AutoSet CPAP/APAP machine

ResMed HumidAir humidifier/water chamber

Genuine ResMed 90W UK power supply

ResMed breathing tube

ResMed AirFit F20 full-face mask – Medium

AirFit F20 headgear

Quick Start Guide

Genuine ResMed padded carry/travel bag

Everything packs neatly into the original ResMed travel bag.

The machine itself presents extremely well and, with only 2 run hours, has had virtually no use.

The mask and headgear are included as part of the package. As these are personal-contact items, a new owner may prefer to replace these for hygiene reasons.

Please see all photographs for condition and contents. Happy to provide additional photographs or information if required.

£425 ONO

Collection welcome, or delivery can be discussed with the buyer.

ResMed AirSense 11 AutoSet automatic CPAP/APAP machine in excellent condition with only 165.5 total run hours – approximately 20–25 nights of use.

Privately purchased (not NHS equipment) and selling because it is no longer required - solves my SA, but I can't seem to tolerate it

Complete setup including:

ResMed AirSense 11 AutoSet

HumidAir 11 cleanable humidifier/water chamber

ClimateLineAir 11 heated tubing

Original CPAP tubing

ResMed AirFit P30i nasal pillows mask / starter pack

Spare replacement air filters

Original ResMed SDHC data card

ResMed 65W power supply and UK mains lead

Original ResMed carry/travel case

Manuals and documentation

Original boxes and packaging

The machine has seen exceptionally little use and is in excellent cosmetic and working condition.

The AirSense 11 supports ResMed myAir connectivity. The ClimateLineAir 11 heated tube and HumidAir 11 humidifier provide heated humidification. The P30i mask has been used and cleaned; as this is a personal-contact item, the buyer may prefer to replace the nasal pillows.

More photos available on request.

Collection preferred (just outside Cambridge), but insured UK postage can be arranged at the buyer’s choice and cost.

I am three weeks into my CPAP therapy and the results are astonishing. I find the UK doesnt really get Sleep Apnoea and especially its impact on our blood pressure. So I wrote a blog to try and share my story.

My Statistics a Week before the CPAP Treatment
Average Blood Pressure 144/94
Medication 10mg Ramipril 10mg Amlodipine 1 mg Doxazosin
Airway Obstructions 44 per hour, Oxygen Saturation 55% and longest Obstruction 87 seconds

My Statistics after Two Weeks of CPAP Treatment
Average Blood Pressure 124/83
Medication 10mg Ramipril, 5mg Amlodipine
Average of 8 hours sleep and 3.9 events per hour

read my story of 20 years being treated for hypertension when actually the issue was sleep apnoea
