...can you just buy the machine? Money is an issue and I dont have insurance. I'm also interested in anyone's experiences in using manual vs. automatic machines. Thanks!

As far as the manual vs auto is concerned, if you don't foresee major lifestyle changes, a manual (cheaper) should do just fine. And even that one can be re-programmed when needed. If you are planning on dropping in weight/changing shape drastically the auto could help accomodate change as you get along.If you can read this...
...at least you seem to be getting enough sleep to stay awake and alert!
